The Seattle Mariners fell to the Los Angeles Angels, 7-6, in spring training. Angels starter George Klassen looked sharp, striking out four on changeups. Mariners hitters Patrick Wisdom and Rhylan Thomas hit solo homers off him, but Seattle couldn't hold the lead.

Bryan Woo started for Seattle but struggled in the third inning, allowing two inherited runners to score. Casey Legumina later surrendered a two-run homer to Jeimer Candelario that broke a tie, sealing the 7-6 defeat.
