Flyers beat Maple Leafs 3-2 in shootout

Noah Cates gave the Flyers a 2-1 lead late in regulation, but William Nylander tied the game on the power play before Michkov and Zegras scored in the shootout.

Auston Matthews scored Toronto's first shootout attempt but failed to convert later, while Flyers goalie Dan Vladar made 29 saves. Travis Konecny missed the game with a lower-body injury.
