Watson's TD Lifts Browns Past Panthers

Watson finished with 144 yards passing, two touchdowns, and 45 rushing yards on 11 carries. "I just wanted to finish the job for them," Watson said of the fans, adding he got "a little teary-eyed" feeling their energy after putting in hard work over the past 22 months. syntagm.co.za

The win comes after Browns fans booed Watson in a preseason game, leading him to call the reaction "disrespectful" before apologizing. "This is what all the hard work, belief, prayers, everything that I have put myself through the last 22 months," Watson said. "We have a big one on Thursday [against the Steelers]."
