Victor Boniface, the 25‑year‑old Nigerian striker who had a strong spell at Bayer Leverkusen, has returned to Werder Bremen training after a three‑month injury hiatus.

Boniface joined Leverkusen in 2022 from Union Saint Gilloise and spent two seasons with the German side. He is now on loan at Werder Bremen and his return to training has been greeted with enthusiasm by teammates and supporters.
