Stanway Makes History in Bayern vs United Clash

Georgia Stanway made history becoming the youngest English player to reach 50 Uefa club competition appearances as Bayern Munich faced Manchester United in the Women's Champions League quarter-final second leg.

Stanway, 27 years and 88 days, surpassed Keira Walsh's record of 27 years and 184 days to achieve the milestone. She partnered Momoko Tanikawa in defensive midfield for Bayern, with Bernadette Kakounan replacing Arianna Caruso in the starting lineup.

The match at Allianz Arena kicked off at 5.45pm BST as the German side looked to secure their place in the next round of the Women's Champions League.
