Skotheim on track to return after foot surgery

The Norwegian 23‑year‑old shot putter is expected to resume competition in late May if his recovery proceeds as planned. He underwent foot surgery in January to repair a ligament in his left foot, and has already completed his first throw post‑op.

Skotheim missed the Paris 2024 Olympics and the Tokyo 2025 World Championships, but he is targeting a senior medal at the European Championships in Birmingham in August.
