Swedish cross-country skiing star Ebba Andersson has been struggling with mental barriers that contributed to multiple falls during the recent season. The Olympic silver medalist made an involuntary fall with skis on during Norway's gold medal-winning relay in Val di Fiemme, followed by more falls during the same relay and during the 50km race in Holmenkollen.
Andersson attributes these issues to persistent knee problems that have affected her performance. "It's a bit unpredictable," she told TT news agency. "Above all, I've tried to let go of the mental barriers that kept appearing at the end of last season when I felt I didn't have full control over my knee." The reigning world champion in skiathlon and 10km is preparing for the new season with a focus on overcoming these challenges. amunra.help
