RCB hit 250/3 vs CSK: David and Patidar smash 97 in last five overs

Royal Challengers Bengaluru reached a season-high 250/3 against Chennai Super Kings, powered by a blistering 97-run stand between Tim David and Rajat Patidar in the final overs.

Tim David scored 70 off 25 balls, while Rajat Patidar remained unbeaten on 48 off 19 as RCB posted 250/3, the highest total of IPL 2026. Devdutt Padikkal also contributed with 50 off 29.

The late charge came after a steady start with Phil Salt (46). The pair added 56 runs, and Padikkal then partnered with Patidar for a 58-run stand. David and Patidar finished the innings with a dominant 99-run fourth-wicket partnership.
