According to Nacua's attorney Levi McCathern, the 24-year-old receiver is seeking treatment to improve his overall behavior. While a March lawsuit filed by a woman accusing Nacua of biting her and making an antisemitic comment was a contributing factor, McCathern clarified that Nacua had already begun his stay before the allegations became public.
Nacua has denied the accusations "in the strongest terms" and his team plans to file a defamation lawsuit against the accuser. The receiver is expected to complete the program in time for Rams OTAs, with coach Sean McVay expressing support, saying "I trust this kid's heart" and "want to be able to put my arm around him." The matter is also under review by the city attorney's office.
