Paula Blasi eyed to win women's Tour de France

The fifth modern‑era Tour de France Femmes, a challenging nine‑stage race from Lausanne to Nice, is seen as the toughest yet, and Spanish rider Paula Blasi is considered a potential winner.

The 2024 Tour de France Femmes, running from iden 1–9 August, will cover 1,175 km with 18,795 m of positive climb, including a 21‑km time trial, the Beaujolais hills, the 1,910‑m Mont Ventoux, and a sprint finish in Nice.

Spanish rider Paula Blasi, who has only 18 months in the WorldTour, is viewed as a strong contender. She is supported by 23‑year‑old Catalan C. from Esplugues de Llobregat, a former middle‑distance athlete, duathlete and triathlete. sport-ipl.my
