Panthers Eye Klubnik as QB Depth

The Carolina Panthers are projected to add 5-star QB prospect Cade Klubnik in the sixth round to bolster their quarterback depth behind starter Bryce Young.

ESPN's Ben Solak suggests Klubnik could be available to the Panthers at pick 200. The Clemson product, once considered a potential first-round pick, possesses a strong arm and solid mechanics but has struggled with timing and anticipation.

With Andy Dalton traded and only Kenny Pickett currently as QB2, Klubnik could provide quality backup play. Coach Dave Canales has a history of helping quarterbacks improve, which could benefit the former top recruit.
