Palou Seeks Title Crown in Freedom 250

Alex Palou is on the brink of securing a fourth consecutive IndyCar title at the Freedom 250 in Washington, D.C., while trailing driver Kyle Kirkwood seeks to close the 133‑point gap.

Palou, who has won five races this season including Portland, sits 542 points ahead of Kirkwood. A victory or a finish in the top nine would seal the championship before the Milwaukee and Monterey rounds.

Christian Lundgaard praised Palou's composure, noting he has shown he can handle pressure and remains the best driver in the series. The Freedom 250 starts Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET on FOX, with the green flag expected around generating 1:13 p.m. ET. h-doctor.club
