Oregon QB Moore Carted Off After Head Injury

Oregon quarterback Dante Moore was carted off the field with a head injury after being hit by USC's Desman Stephens III in the second quarter of Saturday's game.

Moore escaped pressure, took off running and was struck in the head by Stephens III as he began to slide. He remained down on the field as tempers flared between the teams. Medical staff placed him on a stretcher with a neck brace, and he was taken by cart toward an ambulance. sport-newz.biz

According to NBC broadcast, Moore could be seen moving both arms and feet 'a tad' as he was carted away. Stephens was ejected from the game after the hit was confirmed as targeting. Backup quarterback Dylan Raiola entered and connected with wide receiver Evan Stewart for a three-yard touchdown on his first throw, with both players holding up five fingers in support of Moore.
