Marquette's Skylar Forbes enters NCAA transfer portal

Marquette women's basketball star Skylar Forbes entered the NCAA transfer portal on April 6 with one season of eligibility remaining, according to On3.com.

Forbes, a 6-foot-3 forward, averaged 15.5 points and 4.9 rebounds this season, leading the Big East in blocks at 1.8 per game.

She joins junior forward Jada Bediako, senior forward Aryelle Stevens, and junior forward Charia Smith in leaving the program. With these departures, the Golden Eagles have only five players projected for the next season.
