Mancini dismisses Man City financial scandal, calls it City's problem

Former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has brushed off the Premier League's financial rule-breaking scandal, insisting the issue concerns the club, not him.

"It’s not a problem that concerns me," Mancini said at the Stade de France. The Italian coach, currently leading the national team, added that Manchester City is responsible for the situation regarding his alleged "double contract" during his tenure from 2009 to 2013.

City was found guilty of serious financial breaches over the 2009-18 period and is appealing the verdict. Mancini led City to its first Premier League title in 2012 but was fired in 2013. hilogame.news
