Littler Falls to Woodhouse in World Grand Prix Opener

Littler's title defense came to an abrupt end as he lost 2-1 to Luke Woodhouse in the tournament's opening round. The world No. 1 was looking to bounce back from a quarter-final exit to Jonny Clayton in Amsterdam but was unable to secure a win.

In other upset news, Michael van Gerwen also crashed out of the last 32. Littler had threatened to boycott Dutch events following boos in Amsterdam, though he participated in this tournament. librea.one
