La Vuelta Starts in Monaco as Hardest Edition

After hosting the Giro d'Italia in 1966 and Tour de France in 2009, Monaco will now welcome La Vuelta's time trial individual stage to open the Spanish cycling classic. This historic achievement makes Monaco the only city to have hosted opening stages of all three Grand Tours.
