Josh Allen makes historic NFL start

Published September 25, 2026 · Updated September 26, 2026 · NBC Sports

Josh Allen is making history through the first two games of the 2026 NFL season.

Josh Allen has joined an exclusive club with nine or more total touchdowns and no turnovers in the Bills' first two games, putting him alongside Patrick Mahomes (2018) and Peyton Manning (2013) who both won MVP that year.

With two more touchdown passes and no turnovers against the Chargers, Allen would become just the second player ever to reach 11 touchdowns without turnovers through three games. He's also on the verge of tying multiple NFL records for consecutive games with four-plus touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns. freshyourfeel.com
