Herrington nears record Premier League move

18-year-old Australian defender Lucas Herrington is set to become the second-most expensive Australian footballer in history with a move to Premier League side Hull City.

The deal would make Herrington the second-most expensive Australian player ever, behind only Harry Souttar's £15m plus £5m in add-ons transfer to Leicester in 2023. It would also set a new selling record for his current club, Colorado Rapids, and eclipse Hull's previous transfer record.
