Dodgers Tie MLB Record with 14th Straight Playoff Berth

The Dodgers tied the record set by Atlanta from 1991-2005 as Tarik Skubal pitched seven shutout innings and Kyle Tucker and Teoscar Hernandez homered. Los Angeles became the third team to clinch a playoff spot behind Milwaukee and Tampa Bay, cutting their magic number to three for a fifth straight NL West title.

Skubal (10-7) allowed three hits, struck out nine and walked one. Tucker led off the second with his third homer in five games, while Hernandez added a solo shot. Elly de la Cruz hit a 457-foot homer for Cincinnati, the longest by a Reds player this season. betsport24.es
