Dodgers Tap Skubal For NLDS Game 1 Start

Published October 2, 2026 · Updated October 2, 2026 · Fox Sports

The Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly selected Tarik Skubal to start Game 1 of the NLDS against the Atlanta Braves.

Skubal, who joined the Dodgers in a midseason trade from Detroit, will take the mound for Saturday's contest at Dodgers Stadium. The left-handed ace finished the regular season 3-2 with a 2.52 ERA in eight starts with his new team.

The Dodgers (93-60) are in the postseason for the 14th consecutive season, matching the Braves' record from 1991-2005. Skubal's start could allow Yoshinobu Yamamoto or Blake Snell to pitch Game 2, while the Braves' starter remains uncertain, possibly Chris Sale. milkshakeslot.lat
