Bills Safety Gardner-Johnson Injured, MRI Scheduled

Bills safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson left practice on a cart Saturday after suffering a lower right leg injury. General Manager Brandon Beane said the team must wait for an MRI to determine the severity.

Gardner-Johnson was not contacted before the injury and was carted off after a brief examination. Beane stated, 'I don't know anything yet. Until we get an MRI, we'll see.' wlop.pl

Since signing as a free agent this offseason, Gardner-Johnson was expected to play a significant role in Buffalo's secondary, potentially leading to defensive backfield adjustments pending MRI results.
