أمين عام مجلس التعاون: الاعتراف الكولومبي بسيادة الاحتلال على الجولان…

أكد السيد جاسم محمد البديوي الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية،أن الاعتراف الكولومبي بسيادة قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على هضبة الجولان السورية المحتلة مخالف لكل القوانين والمعاهدات الدولية.
وأدان البديوي، في بيان، بأشد العبارات هذا الاعتراف، مجددا التأكيد على أن أي قرارات واعترافات لا تلامس الواقع والحقيقة المبنية على القرارات الدولية والأممية، هي اعترافات غير مقبولة وتؤثر على جهود السلام والأمن في المنطقة.
كما شدد على مخالفة هذا الاعتراف لكل القوانين والمعاهدات الدولية التي أكدت أن هضبة الجولان أرض سورية عربية محتلة من قبل الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، داعيا حكومة كولومبيا إلى سحب هذا الاعتراف الباطل، ولضرورة امتثال الاحتلال الإسرائيلي إلى قرارات الشرعية الدولية بالانسحاب من كافة الأراضي العربية المحتلة، بما فيها هضبة الجولان.
وجدد الأمين العام التأكيد على موقف دول مجلس التعاون الثابت والداعم لسوريا، ووقوفها إلى جانبها في صون سيادتها واستقلالها ووحدة وسلامة أراضيها، بما فيها هضبة الجولان السورية المحتلة، ورفضها القاطع لأي إجراءات أو انتهاكات من شأنها المساس بسيادة سوريا أو الانتقاص من وحدة أراضيها.

Quick Summary:
A cooling vest designed to keep you cool during indoor or outdoor cycling or running in the heat. A lightweight vest into which four frozen ice packs are inserted in back and side pockets.

What we liked:
- The vest is lightweight and comfortable to wear

- When running there is a cooling effect that lasts for upto 40 mins


What to consider:
- If you are looking for something to make running outdoors in 35-40 degrees heat a bit more tolerable then this will help with that.
- I dont think it is needed to help with indoor turbo rides as most people live in air conditioned homes. If doing a hard turbo session indoors then turn up the AC or get a fan.

- I haven’t used it for a cycle ride but the same would apply as for the run. The ice packs last for about 35-40 minutes

Who it’s for:
- Triathletes or runners looking for help with heat management
- Indoor cyclists.

When to use it:
Predominantly for training. It serves a useful purpose for runs off the bike. After a hard bike and you need to do a 20-30 minute run at 08:00am then the vest comes in handy. Helps you “feel cool”, which is the main benefit and just makes that run feel more manageable. It is hard to justify the claims that it keeps core temperature down or that heart rates are reduced compared to not wearing the vest as there are just too many variables. The bottom line is it helps make you feel cooler so those brick runs get done.

Final thoughts:

A nice to have.

Overall opinion:

This would not be useful for a triathlon race as the ice packs would melt by the time you started your run. It can help with training, and as stated above will help get those runs off the bike done in the heat.

Doha, Qatar: With just 100 days to go until the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026, excitement is building for the prestigious youth tournament taking place in Qatar from November 19 to December 13, 2026.

This year marks the second of five consecutive editions that Qatar will host annually through 2029, reaffirming its commitment to delivering world-class sporting events while strengthening the country’s long-term football legacy.

Building on the success of the landmark 2025 tournament, which saw Qatar host the first-ever FIFA competition featuring 48 teams, this year’s edition will once again welcome 48 nations competing across 104 matches. Fans can look forward to up to eight matches per day during an action-packed group stage.
