كأس العالم لا شيء يشبهها (الأخيرة).. رونالدو يطارد الحلم.. وإنجلترا تبحث عن المجد
كلما اقترب كأس العالم، عاد ذلك الشعور الذي لا يشبهه أي حدث رياضي آخر. بطولة تتجاوز حدود اللعبة لتصبح مسرحاً للأحلام والخيبات، ولحظات الخلود التي تصنع الأساطير وتبدل مصائر الأمم الكروية. وفي النسخة التي قد تكون الأخيرة لعدد من النجوم الكبار، تتجه الأنظار إلى قصص تبحث عن نهايات استثنائية؛ كريستيانو رونالدو يطارد الحلم الوحيد الذي استعصى عليه طوال مسيرته، والإنجليز يحلمون باستعادة كأس غابت عن خزائنهم منذ ستة عقود. بين طموح البرتغال، وصعود أوزبكستان التاريخي، وآمال كولومبيا، ورغبة إنجلترا في إعادة المجد إلى موطن اللعبة، تبدو المجموعتان الحادية عشرة والثانية عشرة مسرحاً مفتوحاً لحكايات قد تكتب فصولاً جديدة في تاريخ المونديال.
المجموعة الحادية عشرة
هل يفعلها الإسباني روبرتو مارتينيز ثالث العالم مع بلجيكا في ٢٠١٨ في قيادة (السيلساو داس كيناس) إلى المجد؟
هذا لأن كريستيانو رونالدو فعل كل شيء في اللعبة وروض أمم أوروبا ودوري الأمم وما زال عاجزا أمام المونديال! البعض يرى أن الدون هو الحاجز، فالمصنف الخامس عالميا يرى أنه يستطيع فعلها في المشاركة التاسعة في ظل وفرة الأسماء والنجوم. اكتشف كريستوفر كولومبس أمريكا ويعود كريستيانو رونالدو لذات المكان على أمل اكتشاف اللقب المونديالي.

لمزارعي القهوة منتخب لا يشق له غبار يعده الكثيرون حصانا أسود للبطولة، كولومبيا في التصنيف الثالث عشر بقيادة الأرجنتيني نيستور لرينزو ستسعى لمعانقة الأمجاد في الظهور السابع مونديالياً، في العام ٢٠١٤ ومع تألق خيمس رودريغز كان الكولومبيون قريبين لولا الخروج أمام البرازيل المستضيفة، هذه المرة مع دياز وسوليس وليرما قد يكون التألق أكبر وبحكم الأداء الرائع في الفترة الماضية قد يكون القادم لمنتخب اللاتري مدهشاً.

«ذهب المنتخب الإنجليزي إلى البرازيل عام ١٩٥٠ مرشحا بحكم ظهوره الأول وفي مباراتهم أمام أمريكا في ملعب الاستقلال في بيلو هوريزانتي تلقوا الصدمة بهدف من حانوتي ذي أصل هاييتي هو غايتجنز».
برازيلي «البلقان»
في المجموعة منافس شرس اسمه كرواتيا فمنذ الانشقاق عن جمهوريات يوغسلافيا السابقة يقف برازيليو البلقان في مكان مختلف من اللعبة وقد وصلوا مع لوكا مودريتش للمشهد الأخير في روسيا ٢٠١٨ قبل أن تنتهي البطولة بهم في الوصافة.
في التصنيف ١١ قد تكون المهمة الأخيرة لزلاتكو داليتش ويتمناها تاريخية مع رفاق مودريتش وبيرسيتش وغيرهم من الفريق الملقب بالفاتريني.

النجوم السوداء
في ظهورها الخامس ستسعى النجوم السوداء، غانا لتذكير الجميع بنسخة ٢٠١٠ التاريخية، ورغم التراجع في التصنيف إلى ٧٤ إلا أنها استعانت بالبرتغالي كارلوس كيروش مع فريق شاب قليل الخبرات متقد الحماس.

رجال القناة لا يريدون أن يكونوا الطرف الأضعف في المجموعة، بنما بقيادة الدانماركي توماس كرستيانسين في الصعود الثاني بعد ٢٠١٨ إلى المونديال بوجود إسماعيل دياز وخوسيه فاغاردو سيبحثون عن حلول أمام كرواتيا وإنجلترا وغانا.

Denmark's Eriksen 'doing well' after collapsing during friendly
Copenhagen: Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen is "doing well" after being admitted to hospital due to collapsing during Denmark's friendly against Ukraine, five years after suffering a cardiac arrest during the European Championships.
The 34-year-old former Manchester United midfielder, who had a type of pacemaker inserted after he collapsed in 2021, fell to the ground in the 64th minute of the match in Odense on Sunday. trojkonferencja2024.pl
Medical staff rushed onto the pitch while players from both teams gathered around him to shield the scene from television or smartphone cameras.
The referee called off the match and Eriksen was subsequently taken to hospital, having been shielded by both sets of players as he walked off the pitch.
"I want to let everyone know that I am doing well and that I am home with my family," Eriksen said in a social media post.
He said that receiving a shock from his ICD (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator) had had a "major impact" on him.
"I want to reassure everyone that this was (a) different situation from what happened in 2021," he said, adding that the device had done exactly what is was designed to do.
Eriksen said his "recovery has already started".
"For now, my focus is on recovering, spending time with my family, going on vacation, and playing football with my children," the footballer said.
Denmark's team doctor Morten Boesen said earlier on Monday that Eriksen had been "briefly unconscious" but that "the pacemaker responded as it should".
"I spoke to Christian this morning, and he is doing well," he said in comments posted on Instagram.
Boesen said that he and his medical team were in touch with the Danish national side's players.
"We are taking good care of the players and staff and are in regular contact with them."
Eriksen has worn the pacemaker since he collapsed during the group stage game against Finland at Euro 2020, which was played in 2021.
That led to him spending more than six months away from football.
Denmark captain Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg praised the swift help his team-mate received.
"There was a throw-in and I walked calmly to the touchline. Then I turned around and I saw Christian collapse," he told Danish television station TV2 on Sunday.
"We know very well what that means and the reaction was extremely rapid and respectful."
Denmark coach Brian Riemer, who worked with Eriksen at Premier League side Brentford, said it had been "an extremely shocking experience for everyone, the staff, the players and the opponents".
He said: "He's someone who counts a lot for me. You're closer to certain players than others and he was one of the ones I got close to at Brentford."
Eriksen resumed his career at Brentford seven months after his collapse, having been forced to leave Inter Milan because of Italy's rules against playing with a pacemaker.
He went on to join Manchester United, where he won the FA Cup and League Cup, and now plays for Wolfsburg in Germany, where he has another year to run on his contract.
He also returned to international football, playing for Denmark at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and Euro 2024 in Germany.
Denmark have not qualified for the World Cup in North America, which starts on Thursday.
Former Denmark striker Nicklas Bendtner said the latest incident had been "really awful" but was relieved that Eriksen quickly regained consciousness.
"The main thing is that he was able to walk off by himself because that makes you think he's doing OK given the circumstances," Bendtner told TV2 on Sunday.
"But these are terrible images that outweigh the rest of the evening.
"It's the second time it's happened and as a friend of Christian's, it's really awful."
Iran World Cup Fan Ticket Allocation Revoked
Iran had its World Cup ticket allocation for supporters was withdrawn days before the tournament, adding to visa and access disputes.
Iran’s football federation said its allocation of World Cup tickets for supporters has been revoked days before the start of the tournament.
The federation said the decision left it unable to distribute tickets to Iranian fans through official channels for the team’s group-stage matches.
The move, according to Iranian officials, affected its standard ticket quota for the World Cup. Under FIFA procedures, participating federations usually receive an allocation for their supporters at each match.
The federation criticised the decision and described it as discriminatory. It also said the measure conflicted with the principles of neutrality and equal treatment in international football.
FIFA has not publicly commented on the claim. The United States, one of the three World Cup co-hosts, has also not publicly addressed the issue.
The ticket dispute follows visa problems involving Team Melli’s delegation. Iranian players received U.S. visas before the tournament, but several officials and staff members still faced entry issues.
Iran moved its World Cup base from Tucson, Arizona, to Tijuana, Mexico, after earlier visa uncertainty and security concerns.
Iran will play New Zealand and Belgium in Los Angeles before facing Egypt in Seattle in their final Group G match.
